🔷 Tangram Lab

Build any shape
from just seven pieces

Drag a piece to move it, tap it to select it, then use the rotate and flip buttons to change its orientation. The challenge: fit all seven pieces exactly inside the dashed target outline!

The tangram is a puzzle made by cutting a single square into seven pieces — 2 large triangles, 1 medium triangle, 2 small triangles, 1 square, and 1 parallelogram. Rotate and flip these pieces and put them back together, and you can build not just a square but all kinds of shapes.

Select a piece and a colored rotate handle (↻) appears just outside it. The dots along the dashed circle mark the snap positions (every 45°). Drag the handle and the current angle is shown as a number, with the nearest dot highlighted larger. The moment you let go, it snaps into place like a magnet. When moving a piece, getting close to the target outline or another piece's corner shows a green circle, and letting go there snaps it precisely into position.

Tap a piece to select it, then try the rotate and flip buttons!
