🌦️ Markov Chain Weather Lab

Tomorrow's weather
depends only on today's weather

In a Markov chain, the next state depends only on the current state. Whether today is sunny or rainy, it does not matter what the weather was the day before yesterday. Draw the next weather state and see for yourself.

The numbers above the arrows are transition probabilities. For example, if today is sunny, there is a 70% chance that tomorrow will also be sunny, a 20% chance that it will be cloudy, and a 10% chance that it will be rainy.
